Description

A detailed pen-and-ink illustration captures the iconic starting gate structure at Saratoga Springs Race Course, with tall wooden poles and intricate cross-bracing rising against a stippled sky dotted with distant trees. Below the gate, a crowded grandstand and gathering of spectators, horses, and vintage vehicles fill the foreground with fine linear marks that create texture and energy throughout the composition. At home in a study celebrating racing history or horsing culture. Built in natural birch or walnut and made to order, with the artwork printed across the door panels and an adjustable shelf inside, on steel legs. A statement piece that carries an independent artist's work into the room.
